Installing PPM Beta Version

Overview

This article explains how to install the PPM Beta version using the provided installation package.

The package includes a VBScript that will:

• Download the latest PPM Beta version
• Install/update files in C:\PPM
• Automatically launch PPM Beta after completion

Download Installation Package

Download the ZIP file from the link below:

https://www.weplanet.be/PPM_Tools/00PROGPlanetPM_Beta_Update.zip

Save the file to your local system (Desktop or Downloads recommended).

Important Notes

• Ensure PPM is completely closed before running the script
• The ZIP file must be unblocked before extraction
• Administrator rights may be required

Step 1: Unblock the ZIP File

1. Right-click the downloaded ZIP file
2. Select Properties
3. Under the General tab:
   • Check Unblock
4. Click Apply → OK

Step 2: Extract the ZIP File

1. Right-click the ZIP file
2. Select Extract All
3. Click Extract

Step 3: Close PPM Application

Make sure PPM is not running:

• Close it manually
• Or end it using Task Manager if needed

Step 4: Run the VBScript

1. Open the extracted folder
2. Locate the .vbs file
3. Double-click the file to run

Step 5: Wait for Completion

• The process may take a few minutes
• Do not close the script while it is running

Step 6: Verify Installation

• PPM Beta should open automatically
• Confirm the application works correctly
• Optionally verify files in C:\PPM

Troubleshooting

Script does not run

• Ensure the ZIP file was unblocked before extraction
• Try running as Administrator

PPM already open error

• Close all PPM instances from Task Manager

PPM does not open automatically

• Navigate to C:\PPM and open manually

Files not updated

• Re-run the script
• Check internet connection
